Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know which service to book?
If you’re unsure, start with a Creative Brainstorming Session.
It’s the quickest way to understand what you need next and what direction makes sense for the work you’re doing.
If you know you want photography for your brand or business, book Women At Work.
If you want feedback on something you’ve already created, choose The Review.
What happens in a Creative Brainstorming Session?
We talk through what you're creating and the pieces that feel unclear or stuck.
This is a focused, honest conversation where we sort through your ideas so you can see what’s actually true and what your next steps are.
Some of the things women bring to these sessions include:
offers they want to refine
what they want to be known for
showing up on social media
how to explain their work
messy or overwhelming ideas
questions about their direction
the early stages of a project
what is working and what isn’t
why they feel blocked
what they want to move on immediately
choices they need to make but keep delaying
You leave with clarity, direction, and a next step that feels doable and aligned with where you actually are.
What happens in The Review?
You send me what you want reviewed — your website, copy, offers, messaging, or something you’ve built but can’t see clearly anymore.
I look at it and send back clear, honest feedback:
what’s landing
what’s unclear
what needs strengthening
what someone else sees when they read it
suggested adjustments
This is not proofreading — it's clarity, direction, and refinement.
What is a Women At Work session like?
These sessions move at a natural pace based on how you show up on the day.
We create space for you to feel present in your environment so your images reflect who you truly are.
We capture:
the way you think and work
your hands, tools, and process
your space or chosen location
your presence and expression
the details that make your brand feel human
Nothing forced. Nothing performative.
Just the real you, in your work, in your season.
Do I need to know how to pose?
No.
I guide gently and offer simple adjustments so you feel comfortable.
You don’t need experience — you just need to show up as yourself.
Where do sessions take place?
Wherever feels true to you:
your home
your studio
your workplace
a location connected to your brand
outdoors (coastal, nature, open fields)
Your environment becomes part of your story.
Do you travel?
Yes.
I travel across Brisbane, Redcliffe, the Sunshine Coast, and further when asked.
Travel fees are always communicated clearly upfront.
How many images will I receive?
It depends on the session:
Portrait Sessions: 20–40 images
Women At Work: 30–80 images
UGC packages: based on agreed deliverables
All delivered in a private online gallery.
When will my photos be ready?
Usually within 2–3 weeks.
Faster if you’re working to a deadline and let me know in advance.
How do UGC sessions work?
We talk through the feeling and visual tone you want.
You send me your product or service details.
I create soft, natural, feminine storytelling-style content that fits the aesthetic you see across my work.
This content is suitable for social media, websites, launch campaigns, and brand identity.
I’m not a “brand.” Can I still book?
Yes.
Portrait sessions, creative storytelling sessions, and clarity sessions are available to any woman — business owner or not.
Do I need confidence in front of the camera?
No.
Most women don’t feel confident at the start.
The way I work helps you relax into yourself naturally so the images feel real and recognisable.
How do I prepare for my session?
After booking, you’ll receive a simple guide covering:
what to wear
how to choose your space
what to expect
how to prepare
anything you may want to bring
It’s straightforward and not overwhelming.
Can I reschedule?
Yes — life happens.
Rescheduling details are included in your confirmation email.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, for Women At Work sessions and larger packages.
Just ask at the time of booking.
I still don’t know where to start.
Send me a message and tell me what you’re creating.
A quick conversation is often enough to point you in the right direction — no pressure.
